Bennington Free Library Collections and Services

The Library’s holdings include over 57,000 books, periodicals and research materials in a

variety of  formats. We endeavor to satisfy the intellectual, cultural, and recreational needs of our

community through a variety of  programs, but encourage and welcome suggestions from

our patrons that will enhance Library services.

The Library currently features six public Internet terminals.

Internet access, full-text databases, word processing, BIGPRINT, and a wide variety of publishing

and business software programs are provided at no cost to our patrons. Reference staff offer

Introduction to the Internet  instruction sessions to patrons, as well as ongoing support

in the use of our electronic resources. For more information regarding computing
